SPECIAL Membrane FOR FOUNDATIONS

Membranes IZOFLEX are used to protect the foundations, basement walls, terraces and floors against water and moisture from the soil. They can be an effective protection of the foundations alone or in combination with other materials (cardboard asphalt or foils) forming a proper protection. Perforated surfaces make possible isolation and ventilation of the protected area .
IZOFLEX films are made of hard polyethylene (HDPE) with a high resistance to all substances found in soil. (the humus acid etc..), fungi, mold and plant roots. They fully protected against mechanical damage that may occur when covering the foundations, protecting against movements of the ground.. In horizontal application (terraces) they protects against water from rainfall and humidity that rises (cellars, underground garages, etc..), making possible bearing the high loads of floors. On binding rolls (vertical and horizontal) overlap of about 15 cm. Fixing should be placed, in case of foundations protection, only in the upper part of the film and on overlaps. In horizontal application fixing should be placed on overlaps and only in places where it appears folds .
